In partnership with Elite Allergy Services, testing and treatment is offered in our office using the same criteria set forth by the AAAI (American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology) and the AAOA (American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy) associations using the prick/puncture (diluted allergen is applied using a small, disposable plastic device to prick the the surface of the skin), or the intradermal (diluted allergen injected just below the surface of the skin) method. Results are available immediately after testing and treatment options, including immunotherapy (allergy shots) can be planned.
