Mictronutrient testing looks at nutrients retained within white blood cells. Most conventional labs test for blood levels of vitamins which may or may not be absorbed by your cells, leading to continued symptoms of vitamin deficiencies although your lab tests may show adequate blood levels. Analyzing the white blood cells gives us the most accurate analysis of a body’s deficiencies.
Comprehensive Hormone and Thyroid Testing
Like nutrients, hormones influence all aspects of health and disease. An imbalance of one hormone can initiate a cascade of events resulting in a myriad of health problems such as:
Fatigue, Insomnia Weight Gain/Inability to Lose Weight, Diminished Skin and/or Hair Health, Elevated Cholesterol/Lipids, High Blood Pressure, Depression, Anxiety/Irritability, Focus/Memory, etc.
The incidence of food sensitivities has increased dramatically over the years. It is estimated that up to 20% of the population have adverse reactions to foods, NSAID enteropathy, and post-infectious Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
Classic skin testing for allergies such as skin-scratch testing only measures IgE-mediated reactions rather than low-grade sensitivities which have been associated with recurrent asthma flares, arthritis, migraines, infections, rashes, constipation/diarrhea, etc.
We offer non-invasive evaluation of gastrointestinal function to analyze digestion, absorption, bacterial balance, and yeast growth. This test is recommended for patients with diffuse and non-specific GI-related symptoms such as IBS, indigestion, dysbiosis, constipation, and diarrhea.
Genomic testing covers a variety of conditions including hereditary cancer, cardiac health risks, DNA carrier screening, diet and weight loss, as well as drug response for specific medications including those used in pain management and mental health.
